BULGARI HOTEL TOKYO

My collaborative artwork with HOSOO, a prestigious Nishijin Japanese textile company,

is installed in the Bulgari Suite, the most luxurious room of Hotel Bulgari Tokyo, which opened in spring 2023.

Through close collaboration with the artisans of HOSOO, my original artwork was carefully translated into a Nishijin textile piece. The process involved numerous trials and experiments, particularly in working with gold threads, in order to achieve the desired balance of luminosity, texture, and subtlety. Thanks to the tireless craftsmanship and dedication of the HOSOO artisans, the artwork was successfully reborn as a refined textile expression.
